Sr Technical Product and Project Manager

Nations Info Corp. is looking for a Sr Technical Product and Project Manager to work hands-on with our growing consumer ecommerce website. Our ideal candidate will have had extensive experience working with product, development and operations teams. This candidate will be responsible for identifying areas to improve key metrics through redesign and implementing new technologies. In addition, this candidate will be responsible for driving product development and must be able to dive deep into the details on business, operations and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage product development from initiation to closure
• Actively participate in reviewing and authoring business analysis and functional specifications
• Manage the design and functional documentation on technology projects
• Implement efficient processes, scalable tools, and resource allocation to achieve a high level of productivity
• Keep stakeholders and team members informed about project status and in-sync with the latest development schedule and priorities
• Identify weaknesses and improve existing processes
• Track and report on project milestones and provide status updates to team members and stakeholders
• Determine how results will be measured and complete post-project evaluations to determine how well results were achieved
• Provide research on the industry and competitors, making sure that our products are state of the art

Skills & Qualifications

• An organized thinker: you carefully plan projects and make detailed lists
• A communications black belt: you enjoy collaborating, communicating, and working closely with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
• Inquisitive: you dig deep into data and market findings to define features that ultimately build business value
• Customer-centric: you love providing the best possible user experience, and your passion motivates you to work tirelessly to help your development team deliver the best possible experiences
• Experienced: 5+ years in managing product management teams, preferably in B2C e-commerce and lead generation
• Technical: SQL and Excel guru essential
• Critical thinker: you have demonstrated the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
• Team builder: strong interpersonal and talent management skills, including the ability to identify and develop product management talent
• Education: BS/BA degree required. MBA is a plus, but not required
