PT Pet Sitter: South Chandler, South Gilbert & Tempe

TLC House & Pet Sitting Service, a premier pet-sitting company in Chandler, Arizona, seeks experienced and responsible adults to join our team as Pet Sitters for overnight stays, Dog walking, and Vacation visits. We are looking for part-time sitters with flexible schedules.  For example, retired and looking for extra work, a Teacher looking for extra income on major holidays, a graduate student, or you work from home and have a flexible schedule. Able to work evenings or only mornings and mid-day, or only want overnights. We are flexible. 

This independent contractor role centered on customer service and pet care requires a high level of trustworthiness, dependability, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have prior pet care experience and a genuine passion for animals' well-being.

Location: You must reside within a 5-mile radius of the following zip codes to be eligible: 

 South Chandler, Tempe, and South Gilbert

• Tempe: 85284,85283,85282

• Chandler: 85224, 85248, 85249, 85286

• South Gilbert: 85297, 85298

Time of Day & Service: Based on your availability, you may have multiple visits during a time frame

• Daily visits: 6 am-9 am, 11 am-2 pm, 3 pm-5 pm, 5 pm -8 pm (visit range from 15 minutes to 60 minutes)

• Overnight visits: 7 pm -7 am

Compensation & Advantages

• Earn $500 to $1,500 per month, paid biweekly based on your schedule (availability and type of service(s))

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care for pets during overnight stays and vacation visit

• Follow detailed care instructions to maintain pets’ regular routines

• Administer medications and adhere to special dietary requirements if needed

• Engage pets with playtime, walks, and affection

• Maintain cleanliness by handling minor housekeeping tasks (cleaning up after pets, washing dishes)

• Provide regular updates, including photos, to pet owners

• Report any concerns or emergencies to both TLC and the pet owner

• Ensure the safety and security of both pets and clients’ homes

• Uphold company policies, including maintaining client confidentiality
  
  

Requirements

• Previous pet sitting, animal care, or related experience preferred

• Strong understanding of pet behavior and care needs

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Reliable transportation to clients’ homes and for any required errands

• Ability to pass a background check and provide references
