Automotive Technician

Responsibilities:

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Keep shop area neat and clean
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary
• Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Check tire pressure and add air if needed
• Perform Multi-Point inspections on pre-owned vehicles
• Recondition as per used car managers authorization
• Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards

Requirements:

• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
• Valid Driver's License
• Enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a desire to improve
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Punctual and reliable
• Basic Computer skills
• 1-3 years related experience preferred including but not limited to Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair

Competitive Pay Plan Starting between $32.00-$46.00/hour

Offering a $5,000. sign on bonus to the right candidate 

Our technicians average between 50-70 hours per week

Service Department is Closed Saturday & Sunday No Weekends Required

2 shifts available 6:30am-4:30pm OR 7:30am-5:30pm
