Are you highly organized, great with numbers, and looking for a fast-paced role in a thriving dealership? We are seeking a detail-oriented full-time Automotive Parts Shipper/Receiver to join our team.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our parts warehouse—managing physical inventory logistics while keeping our digital records pinpoint accurate. The ideal candidate has strong alpha-numeric numeracy skills to manage complex automotive part structures and can comfortably balance computer entry with physical warehouse operations.

Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage of $18.00/hour.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES):

  • Inventory & Numeracy: Accurately verify, check in, and bin incoming stock orders by matching complex factory alpha-numeric part numbers against packing slips.
  • Inventory Maintenance & Warehouse Standards: Accurately organize, sequence, and label storage bins numerically and alpha-numerically, ensuring every part is assigned to its correct logical location. Put away all daily stock, emergency orders, and returns neatly to ensure parts are safely stored and free of clutter. Take complete ownership and responsibility for maintaining the ongoing organization, cleanliness, and structural discipline of the parts inventory warehouse.
  • Logistics & Carrier Coordination: Stage and receive daily freight shipments (LTL/manufacturer trucks), inspect shipments, sign bills of lading, and process freight labels.
  • Factory & Vendor Routines: Process daily stock orders, emergency overnight orders, and coordinate factory core/warranty returns.
  • Driver Routing: Oversee the staging area for local delivery routes, ensuring wholesale orders are pulled accurately, invoiced, and sequenced for quick turnaround.
  • System Management: Enter and track receipts, back-orders, and inventory stocking locations inside our Dealership Management System (DMS).
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in an automotive dealership parts department or automotive warehouse environment
  • Exceptional ability to read, sort, and process complex alpha-numeric part and bin sequences without error
  • Previous experience using the Excede DMS (or similar automotive platform) is highly preferred
  • A proven track record of counting and tracking assets accurately to keep inventory balanced
  • Must have a valid driver's license & clean driving record
  • Ability to use parts department computer system
  • Good communication skills
  • Good comprehension of parts manuals
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Experience in retail or wholesale parts department

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Freight Handling: Ability to safely position, transport, and maneuver heavy automotive freight weighing 300 lbs to 1,000 lbs with the mandatory use of provided material-handling aids (pallet jacks, hoists, dollies).
  • Manual Lifting: Ability to lift and carry individual loose parts or stock boxes weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb warehouse ladders throughout a full shift.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable working in both an indoor warehouse and outdoor environment subject to varying weather and temperature conditions.
