This is a great opportunity to start your career in retail automotive and familiarize yourself with the different vehicles on the lot. The Lot Attendant / Porter moves and parks client vehicles in a manner that will ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility to increase client convenience and satisfaction.

Employees in this position will be paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate up to $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieves the customers' vehicles as notified by Management.
  • Cleans driveway and sidewalks.
  • Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and the parking lot as needed.
  • Makes key tags for vehicles.
  • Assists Service Advisors with customer-related needs and provides support to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Greets customers promptly and courteously upon arrival to the service department.
  • Welcomes and assists customers on the service drive, ensuring a positive service experience.
  • Washes, dries, and prepares customer vehicles for delivery following service completion.
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and professional service drive and customer waiting areas.
  • Communicates effectively with customers and team members to help resolve questions or concerns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow directions

  • Maintaining a valid CA drivers license/clean driving record, immediately informing management of any change in license status

  • Ability to follow instructions

  • Positive attitude with a high-energy personality

  • Professional appearance and work ethic

  • Outstanding communication skills
