Job Description:

We are hiring a Mosquito Control Technician to apply mosquito and tick treatments to residential properties throughout Northern Virginia. This is an entry-level pest control technician position with paid training and certification assistance provided. No prior pest control experience is required.

As a mosquito technician, you will work independently, follow established service routes, and provide excellent customer service while working outdoors.

Daily Responsibilities

• Apply mosquito and tick treatments to the exterior of residential properties

• Inspect properties for standing water and breeding areas

• Follow all product label instructions and safety procedures

• Communicate with customers in person and via text to answer common questions

• Use a company-provided phone to complete service notes and property summaries

• Maintain and clean assigned equipment, including your company van and blowers

• Share customer feedback or service concerns with your supervisor

Qualification Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift at least 55 lbs, including carrying equipment over wooded or uneven terrain

• Ability to obtain and maintain Virginia Registered Technician certification (training and assistance provided)

• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Positive, customer-focused service attitude

Compensation & Benefits:

• $160 per day (8-hour workday) + daily bonus opportunities
