Used Car Technician

Job Description:

Mooresville Ford is looking for a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Used Car Technician that has extensive knowledge and multiple car makes and models to join our growing service team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing used vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards before resale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections and reconditioning of used vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete work efficiently and document repairs clearly
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Reliability, accountability, and a solid work ethic
• Good work & time management

Qualifications:

• Prior automotive repair experience (used car experience a plus – 5+ years preferred)
• Must have own tools and toolbox
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ford training or certification preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
