Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser

Responsibilities:

• Writing estimates and supplements for repairs
• Determining feasibility of repair vs. replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors
• Dealing with Insurance companies. Negotiation of repairs.
• Preparing repair orders and following the repairs through the shop 
• Communicate repair plans and navigate customer through their repair process. Advocating for proper repairs to the insurance companies 
• Occasionally maneuver around and underneath damaged vehicles

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidate will have 2 years of previous estimating experience (insurance or bodyshop)
• Strong background in customer service and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedures manual
• Able to create and read estimates. .  
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ct Appraiser's License
