MINI of Glencoe is seeking a positive, professional Parts Counterperson to join our dynamic North Shore team. • 18.00 per hour base plus commission

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Answer phone calls, provide accurate quotes, and communicate parts availability to customers and staff with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Order Management: Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, including pulling and filling orders from stock for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.
• Inventory Control: Maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy, source out-of-stock parts from outside vendors, and flag low inventory or urgent shop materials for the Parts Manager.
• Internal Collaboration: Review body shop estimates for accuracy, ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed to service repair orders, and process payments or credit authorizations for retail customers.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous automotive parts sales experience is highly preferred (MINI or BMW experience is a plus).
• Skills: Strong organizational, math, and time-management skills; ability to easily read and navigate electronic automotive parts catalogs.
• Core Abilities: High capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and interpret standard business or safety documents.
