Service Technician

Milnes Ford, Inc is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Lapeer, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, manufacturer recalls and repairs on vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
• Complete service orders and document repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive service technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and mechanics.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
