Automotive PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) & Reconditioning Technician

The Automotive PDR & Reconditioning Technician at Miles Chevrolet in Decatur, Illinois will be responsible for repairing dents on vehicles using paintless dent repair techniques, performing paint touch-ups, interior touch-ups, accessory installations, and reconditioning tasks to ensure vehicles are in top condition for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct paintless dent repairs on vehicles
• Perform paint touch-ups and interior touch-ups on vehicles
• Perform reconditioning tasks such as detailing, buffing, and polishing vehicles
• Perform accessory installations, such as vinyl stickers, blackout emblems, and other minor accessories
• Work efficiently to meet repair and reconditioning deadlines
• Collaborate with the sales and service team to ensure customer satisfaction

Compensation:

• Compensation will vary based on abilities. The main job role here is PDR. Other job roles will pay additional commission per job completed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in automotive PDR required
• Previous experience in any reconditioning is recommended, although some can be trained
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
