Internet Sales Manager

Mike Bass Ford is actively searching for a results-driven and ambitious Internet Sales team leader for our Business Development (BD) department. As one of the largest Ford dealers in Northeast Ohio, our internet team has the opportunity to connect with an abundance of digitally-driven leads, across various platforms. 

Responsibility Summary

• Oversee the daily operations of our Business Development Department
• Ensure leads from digital sources (i.e., website, chat, third party, social, etc.) receive a quality response in a timely fashion
• Develop scripts, guidelines, and procedures for the department
• Maintain and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Set and confirm appointments - follow up with missed appointments
• Verify and maintain the accuracy of our sales pipeline within our CRM
• Oversee our digital assets for sales promotion accuracy
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of the Ford and Mazda model lineups and our key competitors to win buyers in a competitive market

Position Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug test are required
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods as part of your daily work environment
• A professional appearance, friendly manner, and positive attitude
• Strong customer service and communication skills, including proper phone etiquette
• Prior experience in a sales role (specifically automotive sales) is preferred, but not required
