Job Summary

Mighty Auto Parts is seeking a Sales Enablement Manager that will drive the success of our wholesale distribution franchise system by developing and implementing strategies focused on sales training, product promotion, incentive plans, and product launches. This role will collaborate with franchisees, sales teams, and cross-functional departments to equip sales staff with the tools, knowledge, and motivation needed to achieve revenue goals and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a passion for empowering sales teams in a franchise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Training & Development
    • Partner with the Director of Training to design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs tailored to franchise sales teams, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies. 
    • Create on-boarding programs for new franchise sales staff to ensure rapid integration and productivity. 
    • Provide ongoing coaching, workshops, and resources to enhance sales skills and maintain alignment with company standards.
  • Product Promotion: 
    • Develop and execute promotional strategies to highlight key products and drive sales across the franchise network. 
    • Collaborate with marketing to create compelling sales collateral, presentations, and campaigns that resonate with wholesale customers. 
    • Ensure franchisees and sales teams are equipped with up-to-date product information and competitive positioning.
  • Incentive Plans
    • Design and manage incentive programs to motivate franchise sales teams and align with company objectives. 
    • Analyze sales performance data to measure the effectiveness of incentive plans and recommend adjustments to maximize results. 
    • Communicate incentive structures clearly to franchisees and sales staff, ensuring transparency and engagement.
  • Product Launches
    • Lead the planning and execution of product launches across the franchise system, coordinating with product development, marketing, and operations teams. 
    • Develop launch strategies, including sales playbooks, promotional materials, and training sessions to ensure successful adoption. 
    • Monitor launch performance and gather feedback from franchisees to inform future launches.
  • Franchise Support & Collaboration
    • Act as a primary point of contact for franchisees on sales enablement initiatives, addressing their needs and fostering strong relationships. 
    • Conduct regular check-ins with franchisees to assess training needs, share best practices, and ensure consistent execution of sales strategies. 
    • Facilitate knowledge-sharing across the franchise network to promote a unified sales approach.
    • Work directly with the Major Accounts team on regular monthly/quarterly communications, sales promotions, etc.

 

  • Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales training, product promotions, and incentive programs. 
    • Provide regular reports to leadership on the impact of enablement initiatives and recommend data-driven improvements. 
    • Leverage CRM tools and analytics platforms to monitor sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the marketing department during franchise site visits and national meetings (travel up to 20%)
  • Reports to the VP of Marketing & Brand

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field; advanced degree a plus. 
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role, preferably in wholesale distribution or a franchise system. 
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful sales training programs and incentive plans. 
  • Strong understanding of product promotion strategies and product launch processes. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or FranConnect) and data analysis tools. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience working with franchise systems or distributed sales teams is highly desirable.
  • Automotive background is a plus.
