The RV Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing RVs that best suit their needs and preferences. This role involves understanding customer requirements, demonstrating RV features, negotiating prices, and closing sales. Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and ascertain their needs, guiding them through the RV buying process.
  • Provide detailed information and demonstrations of various RV models and features.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, offering excellent customer service and follow-up support.
  • Assist customers with financing options and complete necessary paperwork for sales transactions.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
  • Stay updated on current RV models, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom and lot, ensuring all RVs are presentable.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products and promotions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Track sales performance and report to the sales manager regularly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the RV, automotive, or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of RVs and their features, or a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and sales software.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in RV sales or a related field.
  • Knowledge of financing and insurance options for RV purchases.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
