Store Manager Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the site

Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing solutions

Provide tour of facility to prospective customers and show units

Achieve sales objectives through unit rentals, unit insurance, and moving supplies

Assist new customers with rental processes and understanding agreements

Handle cash and balance receipts, purse collections, post payments, and process daily bank deposits

Ensure the facility meets highest cleanliness standards through general maintenance duties

Must be able to work independently and well with a team

Walk property and complete lock checks and clean units

Ensure facility clean and well maintained from restrooms, to landscaping, to parking, walls, fences and doors

Ability lead diverse team

Run errand for the facility as needed

Qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of customer-facing employment experience
  • 1+ year of experience in leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work Saturdays
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the workday. While performing Store Manager job duties, you will frequently be required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
  • Requires the ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (i.e., small print, computer). 
  • Grasp, turn and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. 
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
