Dealership Service Department Porter

Metro Ford in Independence Mo has a need to fill 1 full-time positions as a Service Porter. The perfect candidate would be a person who loves a variety of tasks and has a positive attitude about any task assigned to them. We offer a 4 day work week with rotating Saturdays. This position works both indoors and outdoors, in a shop environment. Standing and walking is required for up to 75% of work shift, and bending, twisting, and kneeling required primarily for getting in and out of vehicles.

Duties include:

· Move vehicles in and out of shop to service bays.

• Working with service advisors
• Work with managers and dispatcher to insure vehicles goes to the correct tech.
• Shuttle customers to their preferred destination.
• Help keep customer facing areas of the Dealership neat and clean at all times.
• General housekeeping of the Service Department.

Qualifications:

• Must be motivated AND punctual.
• 40 Hour week minimal
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Must have valid Driver’s license.
• Must be able to Multi Task.
• Good Communication Skills
• Must be above the age of 18
• Must work well with others

· Background check and drug test required.

· Service Porter/Lot Attendant experience preferred.
