ABOUT THE ROLE 

We’re hiring Service Porters to help keep our service drive and lot moving. You’ll greet customers, move vehicles in and out of the shop, fuel and wash cars, and make sure every customer who pulls into Methuen CDJR has a clean, smooth, professional first impression. This is a foot-in-the-door role at a brand-new store — show up, work hard, and there’s a real path into Lube Tech, Service Tech, or other roles in the dealership. 

Pay: $17–$20 per hour, based on experience and availability. No prior experience required — we will train you. A great attitude and a valid driver’s license are what matter most. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Greet service customers as they pull in and direct them to a Service Advisor 

  • Move customer vehicles into and out of the service shop safely and efficiently 

  • Move and stage new and used inventory around the lot as needed 

  • Fuel, wash, and prep vehicles for customer pickup and delivery 

  • Keep the service drive, customer lot, and showroom area clean and presentable 

  • Run errands and shuttle customers / parts as needed 

  • Help unload new vehicle deliveries and stage them appropriately 

  • Pitch in wherever the team needs help — porters are the backbone of the drive 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • No prior dealership experience required — we will train the right candidate 

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (REQUIRED) 

  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is a plus 

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a customer-first attitude 

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move vehicles for the full shift 

  • Punctual, dependable, and ready to work as part of a team 

  • Must be 18 or older
