Position Summary:
We are expanding our Hazardous Waste Division and seeking a driven, outbound-focused Account Executive to join our high-performance sales team in Naperville, IL. This is a high-impact, hunter-style role focused on cold outreach, pipeline generation, and closing net-new business with healthcare providers that require compliant hazardous and biohazardous waste disposal.
This role is ideal for a proactive and persuasive communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to help build something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and connect with healthcare facilities and multi-site organizations in need of hazardous or biohazardous waste disposal solutions.
- Outbound Outreach: Conduct high-volume outreach via cold calls, personalized email campaigns, LinkedIn, and industry networking.
- Full-Cycle Sales: Own the entire sales process—from initial contact and qualification to product presentation, negotiation, and signed agreement.
- Solution Selling: Tailor pitches around compliance (RCRA, DOT, OSHA), safety improvements, environmental impact, and cost savings.
- Account Handoff: Seamlessly transition new clients to the onboarding and customer success teams for service implementation.
- CRM Management: Maintain clean and accurate activity records in Salesforce or HubSpot; track pipeline stages and performance KPIs.
- Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with operations, onboarding, and compliance teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Voice of Customer: Share feedback and market insights with leadership to improve product-market fit and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of outbound B2B sales experience—preferably in healthcare, environmental services, or compliance-regulated industries
- Knowledge: Familiarity with hazardous waste regulations (RCRA, DOT, OSHA) is a strong plus—or willingness to learn fast
- Skills: Proven ability to prospect, present, and close deals in a high-volume sales environment
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and modern sales engagement platforms
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (but not required with relevant experience)
- Mindset: Self-starter with a growth mindset, coachability, and a track record of exceeding targets
