Job Description
Diagnose, test, and perform essential preventative maintenance while working directly alongside senior mentors. This position is specifically designed for individuals who want to bypass traditional, slow-moving career paths and rapidly master diagnostics through a blend of on the job experience and training.

Responsibilities
- Perform Routine Maintenance: Execute high-quality basic services including fluid changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, alignments, and multi-point safety checks.
- Assist with Advanced Repairs: Work closely with senior technicians to shadow and assist on complex mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Complete comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate repair recommendations to service advisors.
- Perform repairs and maintenance in accordance with Acura manufacturer standards, dealership policies, and safety procedures.
- Accurately document repair orders while maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with Acura technology, factory training, and ASE certifications.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- ASE certifications preferred.
- Acura or Honda dealership experience is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently perform repairs.
- Proficiency using factory diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information.
- Strong attention to detail, productivity, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
