Mathieu Ford is seeking a results-driven Assistant Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, the ability to push hours effectively, and the drive to keep both technicians and service advisors on task and focused on delivering results. This is a hands-on position that supports the Service Manager in day-to-day operations, with a strong focus on shop productivity, customer satisfaction, and labor sales performance.
Key Responsibilities

Drive technician efficiency and productivity by monitoring flag hours and workload distribution.

Support and oversee service advisors to ensure strong sales performance and excellent customer communication.

Manage dispatching and workflow to maximize shop output and meet promised times.

Monitor daily labor sales, hours per RO, effective labor rate, and other key service.

Resolve customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Assist in training and coaching service team members to meet department goals.

Step in for the Service Manager as needed and help maintain a positive, accountable team culture.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in automotive service department operations (preferred)

Prior experience as a service advisor, shop foreman, or ASM is a plus

Strong understanding of service department (efficiency, hours per RO, etc.)

Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills

Proficiency with DMS systems

Must be organized, reliable, and goal-oriented
