Maplecrest Ford is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll help customers find the right new or pre-owned vehicle and guide them through the purchasing process from start to finish. Whether you’re experienced in sales or new to the field, we provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Automotive Sales Consultant Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the showroom, building rapport and understanding their needs

• Help customers select the right vehicle based on their wants, needs, and budget

• Present and explain vehicle features, performance, benefits, and available options

• Offer and coordinate test drives, following dealership procedures and verifying proper identification

• Achieve sales goals as outlined by the sales manager

• Follow up with prospects and customers to encourage repeat and referral business

• Review your performance regularly (daily/weekly/monthly) to continuously improve results and time management

Automotive Sales Consultant Requirements

• Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred (automotive a plus, but not required)

• Comfortable using technology; training provided on all dealership tools and software

• Strong customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a positive team player

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
