Maplecrest Ford of Mendham is seeking a highly motivated BDC Representative to join our team! As a key part of our sales and customer service operations, you will be responsible for managing internet and phone leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The goal is to increase showroom traffic, drive sales, and provide outstanding service to our customers.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset to help us connect with potential buyers and provide them with the best possible experience. Automotive experience is a plus but not required—we provide training to help you succeed!
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly base in the range of $17-19/hr plus commission based on customer appointments and sales

Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms

Follow up on leads and schedule appointments for the sales team

Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system

Stay informed on current vehicle inventory, promotions, and manufacturer incentives

Provide accurate and friendly customer service, answering questions about vehicles and dealership services

Proactively reach out to existing customers for follow-ups, lease renewals, and equity mining opportunities

Work closely with the sales and service teams to coordinate customer visits and ensure a seamless experience
Qualifications

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Detail-oriented and well-organized

Comfortable working with computers and CRM software

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
