Job Title: HR Generalist

Job Overview:

Mannix Marketing is currently seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily HR operations, company culture, and ensuring compliance with all applicable multi-state and Federal regulations. They will also provide exceptional support and guidance to employees at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including job descriptions, job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and reference checks
  • Manage employee onboarding and paperwork completion processes
  • Work with department heads to evaluate, revise, and enhance the onboarding process and professional development programs for all employees. 
  • Maintain accurate and complete personnel records for all employees
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Perform regular HR audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Respond to and resolve employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and general HR policies
  • Plans and executes all aspects of leadership retreats and company retreats.  
  • Designs, implements, and monitors company culture feedback, and celebratory initiatives to enhance company culture and cohesiveness. 
  • Handles all aspects of sponsorships & trades. Manages community outreach & philanthropic programs.
  • Researches, reviews, and recommends improvements to employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring multi-state & federal regulatory compliance and ROI.
  • Stays informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, advising management on compliance issues as needed.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Reviews all PIPs and, when needed, other documentation.
  • Conducts workplace investigations when needed and takes appropriate action.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. resident
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Bamboo HR, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, multi-state and Federal regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred

Additional Information:

Salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000; pay commensurate with experience.
