Job Title: HR Generalist
Job Overview:
Mannix Marketing is currently seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily HR operations, company culture, and ensuring compliance with all applicable multi-state and Federal regulations. They will also provide exceptional support and guidance to employees at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job descriptions, job postings, screening, scheduling interviews, and reference checks
- Manage employee onboarding and paperwork completion processes
- Work with department heads to evaluate, revise, and enhance the onboarding process and professional development programs for all employees.
- Maintain accurate and complete personnel records for all employees
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Perform regular HR audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Respond to and resolve employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and general HR policies
- Plans and executes all aspects of leadership retreats and company retreats.
- Designs, implements, and monitors company culture feedback, and celebratory initiatives to enhance company culture and cohesiveness.
- Handles all aspects of sponsorships & trades. Manages community outreach & philanthropic programs.
- Researches, reviews, and recommends improvements to employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring multi-state & federal regulatory compliance and ROI.
- Stays informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, advising management on compliance issues as needed.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Reviews all PIPs and, when needed, other documentation.
- Conducts workplace investigations when needed and takes appropriate action.
Qualifications:
- U.S. resident
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR role.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Bamboo HR, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, multi-state and Federal regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse employees at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
Additional Information:
Salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000; pay commensurate with experience.
