Business Development Center Team Lead

BDC Team Leader – Automotive

Lunghamer Automotive Group is looking for an experienced BDC Team Leader to lead, motivate, and grow our Business Development Center.

This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have previous automotive BDC/call center experience AND management or team-lead experience. We’re looking for someone who knows how to drive activity, coach a team, hold people accountable, and most importantly—get appointments in the door.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, and hold the BDC team accountable

• Monitor daily calls, leads, appointments, show rates, and results

• Coach phone skills, objection handling, texting, emailing, and follow-up

• Ensure internet leads and inbound opportunities are handled quickly and correctly

• Make outbound calls and work leads alongside the team

• Train and onboard new BDC representatives

• Monitor CRM activity, tasks, notes, and lead follow-up

• Help establish daily and monthly goals and keep the team focused on hitting them

• Work closely with sales management to maximize appointments, shows, and sold opportunities

• Create a positive, competitive, high-energy team environment

REQUIRED Experience

Applicants MUST have:

• Previous automotive BDC and/or call center experience

• Previous management, supervisor, or team-lead experience

• Strong phone and customer-service skills

• Experience working in a CRM and managing lead follow-up

• Proven ability to coach and motivate a team

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• The ability to lead by example and jump in wherever needed
