Job Description:
Lou Fusz Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Ram is looking for a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team in Vincennes, Indiana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the dealership facilities to ensure a welcoming environment for customers and staff. This is a crucial role that helps us present our best image to our clients and create a pleasant working environment for our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of showroom floors, offices, restrooms, and other areas of the dealership.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure proper disposal of trash.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other glass surfaces.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Restock cleaning supplies and inform management when supplies are running low.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitorial closet.
• Respond to any urgent cleaning needs or special requests from management or staff.
• Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a janitor, cleaner, or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• A great attitude and work ethic
• Must have valid driver's license and submit to drug screening and background check

Working Hours:

• This is a full time position
• Flexible schedule, may include weekends and evenings depending on dealership needs.
