VIP Auto Accessories, is the St Louis area’s automotive accessory upfitter.  VIP services multiple new and used car dealerships throughout the state of Missouri.  This position will enable the right individual to use their Aftermarket Accessories Install skills to join our team. VIP is a division of the Lou Fusz Automotive Network and offers their employees a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage along with a 401k, life insurance and disability package.

This role allows the individual to be firsthand on fulfilling the customer's needs, supplying them with great customer service, working with knowledgeable coworkers, and witnessing the day-to-day operations of a busy installation facility.  You will work on various types of vehicles, SUV’s, trucks, vans, and passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities:

 

• Perform installations of a wide range of aftermarket automotive accessories, including but not limited to, audio systems, navigation systems, lighting, suspension, exterior accessories, and interior accessories.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after installation to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain an updated inventory of accessories, tools, and equipment, and inform the management team of any restocking requirements.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements, attending training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of any issues that may arise.

Requirements:


• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification from an accredited vocational school is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in aftermarket accessory installation in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license
