Position Summary

The Full Time Nail Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancement services in a premier resort and private club environment. This position creates memorable wellness experiences by providing personalized care, professional expertise, and outstanding guest service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and luxury hospitality.

As an ambassador of the Spa & Wellness team, the Nail Technician will cultivate an atmosphere of relaxation, comfort, and excellence that reflects the distinguished reputation of Longboat Key Club & Resort.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform professional manicure, pedicure, gel polish, and specialty nail services according to spa standards.
• Conduct guest consultations to assess preferences, health considerations, and service expectations.
• Recommend retail products and at-home care solutions to support ongoing nail health and beauty.
• Maintain treatment areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with state regulations and spa sanitation protocols.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences that exceed expectations and encourage repeat business.
• Promote spa services, seasonal offerings, memberships, and resort amenities.
• Assist in achieving spa revenue goals through service excellence and retail sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to Spa Management.
• Maintain accurate guest records and service documentation.
• Support special events, member programs, bridal services, and seasonal promotions.
• Foster strong relationships with resort guests, members, and fellow team members.
• Uphold all company policies, luxury service standards, and professional appearance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Nail Specialist License required.
• Minimum one year of professional nail care experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a luxury spa, resort, hotel, or private club environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and product applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and guest service abilities.
• Ability to work flexible, full-time schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons.
• Professional appearance and demeanor reflective of a luxury hospitality environment.
