Before the dining room fills up and the tickets start printing, someone has to make sure the kitchen is ready to go. That’s where you come in.

Lola’s on the Water is looking for a reliable Prep Cook who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and fresh ingredients. You’ll help set the culinary team up for a successful service by making sure everything is prepped, portioned, labeled, and ready when it’s needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing ingredients according to recipes, prep lists, and production standards.

• Washing, cutting, portioning, labeling, dating, and properly storing food items.

• Preparing sauces, dressings, vegetables, proteins, and other menu components.

• Keeping prep areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.

• Following food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control procedures.

• Communicating with the culinary team to make sure the kitchen is ready for service.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Previous prep or kitchen experience required.

• Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and portion standards.

• Good organization and time-management skills.

• Dependability and the ability to work independently while still being part of the team.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move kitchen supplies.
