Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 Per Hour

Pay based on experience with Flat Rate Incentive Plan

Full-Time, 40 to 45 Hours Per Week

First Shift, Monday-Friday.

Minimum Requirements of Employer: 

Education: Certificate or Diploma beyond High School desired

Professional Licenses/Certifications: No Licenses or Certifications Requested

Drivers License: Class D - Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required

Endorsement: No Endorsement Required

Age: 18 or Older

Experience: Previous body repair and painting experience required. Read and comprehend instructions and information. Excellent oral and written skills. Able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. Possess a High School diploma or equivalent. Work comfortably with the public. Tidy, professional appearance. Current Driver's License with a good driving record.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

• Repair and refinish automotive vehicle bodies and straighten vehicle frames.
• The Body Shop Technician is an experienced technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs, as assigned.
• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with the dealership standards. 
• Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicate with the Body Shop Manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within promised time.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Participate in Ford sponsored training programs, schools and events.
