Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the renovation of apartments across our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in apartment maintenance, renovation project management, and team supervision. This role is responsible for ensuring all apartment turnarounds and renovations are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Renovations:
    • Oversee all aspects of apartment renovations, including scheduling, budgeting, contractor oversight, and quality assurance.
    • Plan and implement renovation timelines to meet strict move-in deadlines.
    • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal maintenance teams to ensure timely completion.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and manage a team of vendors.
    • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability.
    • Train staff on proper renovation techniques, safety standards, and company procedures.
  • Project Management:
    • Inspect units post-move-out and scope required work.
    • Order materials and schedule services efficiently to minimize vacancy loss.
    • Monitor project costs and maintain detailed records of labor, materials, and timelines.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:
    • Ensure all renovation work meets company standards and complies with local codes and safety regulations.
    • Conduct final inspections and punch lists for completed units.
  • Communication & Reporting:
    • Work closely with and report progress to Marketing team  and Director of Facilities. 
    • Communicate effectively with residents and staff regarding renovation timelines and any issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of maintenance or renovation supervision experience in residential property management or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of apartment systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with maintenance management software and basic computer applications.
  • OSHA certification or other relevant safety training preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Frequent walking, bending, and standing for extended periods.
