The philosophy guiding Health Services is to strive to maintain the residents at their maximum level of self-care and independence. All staff are to promote the physical, personal and emotional well-being of each resident. The ultimate goal of quality resident care is to enable each resident, where possible, to return to the highest level of functioning, to attain a new stage of independence or to at least prevent regression. - Note any new orders or changes in condition and follow up-on any necessary documentation or other necessary changes and that the changes are care planned.
- Input data to the weekly risk document.
- Update evaluations on care plans for incidents (note: the MDSC will ensure an approach is added to a care plan for each incident; however, it is the responsibility of the Unit Manager and/or Charge Nurses to ''paint the picture" of incidents to improve the care plan and show our investigation).
