Service Technician

Job Summary:
Lewisville Autoplex is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team in Lewisville, Texas. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, offering competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle problems
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency to meet service department goals
- Keep accurate and detailed records of repairs and maintenance tasks performed
- Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain repair recommendations and estimated completion times
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines in the service department
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification from an accredited automotive program preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- ASE certifications a plus
- Proficient knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
