Parts Consultant

Job Summary:
As a Parts Consultant at Leo Martin Chevrolet, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in the auto parts industry. You will assist customers in finding and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time individual contributor role with a base salary plus commission in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Listen to and understand customer needs to provide accurate and timely parts recommendations
- Use electronic cataloging and inventory systems to locate and order parts for customers
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate documentation of transactions
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure parts are properly organized and stocked
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to ensure accurate pricing and availability of parts
- Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and dealership promotions
- Comply with all safety and security protocols as set by the dealership

Requirements:

- Knowledge of PartsTrader & OPS Trax a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the automotive industry, specifically in parts sales, is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with electronic cataloging and inventory systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
