We are seeking a skilled Senior Auto Technician with proven dealership experience to become part of our service team. Candidates should have at least two years of professional dealership experience and be comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair work. This role is ideal for a technician who can diagnose vehicle concerns, complete assigned repair orders efficiently, and continue developing their skills through ongoing training.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete repairs and maintenance across a variety of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, HVAC, and drivability
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine the appropriate repair
  • Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify vehicle concerns
  • Perform scheduled maintenance such as fluid services, filter replacement, and wheel alignments
  • Review repair orders and complete assigned work accurately and within expected timeframes
  • Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair findings and additional work that may be needed
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain the correct parts and materials for repairs
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all work performed
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures and quality standards
  • Participate in Ford training and work toward additional STST certifications
  • Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of professional automotive technician experience in a dealership setting
  • Ford certification strongly preferred
  • ASE or other manufacturer certifications are a plus
  • Working knowledge of brake, suspension, HVAC, and drivability systems
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a busy service department and managing multiple repair orders
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a safe driving history
