The Schedule: This position may be expected to work above and beyond a regular 40-hour work week in order to meet necessary deadlines.
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with a rotating Saturday shift (8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.). A weekday off is provided during weeks worked on Saturday. One Saturday off per month.
The schedule is subject to change at any time based on operational need and at management’s discretion.
Travel Requirements: travel requirements will vary based on organizational priorities and operational demands and may be required periodically throughout the year for training or meetings.
- A valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained for travel requirements.

The Opportunity - Sales Manager and Financial Services Consultant
The Sales Manager/Financial Services Consultant works with other Variable Managers to oversee, manage, and train in all aspects of the Sales and Finance Departments. Communicates any concerns and suggestions in a timely manner to the President/General Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop Sales & Leasing Consultants to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery, and follow-up process.
- Manage sales operations, including staffing, scheduling, performance goals, and sales meeting leadership.
- Structure and negotiate new, used, and certified vehicle deals to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee CRM processes and customer follow-up activities to ensure timely communication, accurate reporting, and lead management.
- Partner with leadership to manage vehicle inventory, trade appraisals, vehicle acquisitions, and sales forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including FTC Safeguards requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance & Insurance (F&I), and Accounting teams to ensure accurate deal processing, funding, documentation, commissions, and profitability.
- Present financing, leasing, warranty, and aftermarket product options while maintaining transparency and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Analyze department performance, develop incentive initiatives, prepare operational reports, and support continuous improvement through training and best-practice collaboration.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Manufacturer certification must be maintained at the minimum level.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Sales License (or ability to obtain and maintain upon hire).
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive sales leadership, sales management, or related dealership experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, team-building, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and related technology.
- Ability to maintain required manufacturer certifications and complete ongoing training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Finance & Insurance (F&I) experience.
- Experience with Toyota and/or Chevrolet franchise operations.
- Prior experience with VIN Solutions and/or Dealertrack a plus.
- Experience managing inventory, trade appraisals, desking deals, and sales forecasting.
- Strong understanding of automotive regulatory compliance and dealership operations.
