Earnings Potential: 

The wage range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00. This is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonus for eligible roles, commissions, and competitive benefits.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis. Reconciles vendor statements to the AP schedules making sure payments are accurate and consistent with the dealership schedules.
  • Prepares monthly accounts payable run and prints checks.
  • Ensures that we have W9 information for vendors. Prepares 1099s at year-end.
  • Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly. Ensures that statements are accurate and that control variances are corrected. Report any past due vendors to the Controller.
  • Maintains complete and accurate file of Sales & Use tax Exemption Certificates. Reaches out to vendors that need to update or complete an exemption certificate.
  • Posts wholesales, dealer trades on a daily basis.
  • Reviews and cleans up various schedules as assigned by Controller.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Daily Deposit – reconcile daily credit card terminals, checks receipted and cash taken in
  • Reconcile company VISA statements (post receipts and reconcile monthly)
  • Weekly DMV pick up and drop off
  • Intercompany (LGU, LCY, LHY) bucket swaps.
  • Bank runs for change orders, daily deposits and obtaining lien releases
  • Daily mail drop off
  • Tracks and logs all gas receipts for stores.
  • Maintains a clean and organized file room for deals, RO’s statements, etc.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintains a personal demeanor consistent with the Company’s culture, contributing a positive, supportive work environment for all team members.
  • Title Clerk Duties
  • Maintain all MSOs/Titles
  • Follow-up on all used titles/lien releases as needed
  • Prepare MSOs/Titles to be sent to DOR office or customer for sold units
  • Scans all completed deal packets to be uploaded, indexed, and verified for accuracy to scan site.
  • Scans RO’s, Payables, Factory Statements, and Visa Statements.
  • Maintains a neat work area.
  • Assists Controller with other projects and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associates degree in accounting preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must have the ability to establish productive, cooperative relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.
  • Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
  • Must utilize effective time management skills and have the ability to work effectively and productively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills including excellent phone etiquette.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
  • Must be punctual, dependable and reliable.
  • Travel to other Company locations as requested along with manufacturer training and other relevant training courses required.
  • Valid driver’s license required for essential job functions and occasional travel.
  • Must have the ability to work independently on ASSIGNED tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Must have a professional appearance and manner consistent with the dress code policy and best practices set forth by the President.
