About the Role

Leachman Buick GMC Cadillac is looking for a dependable, organized Lot & Inventory Porter to help keep our inventory accessible, our lot looking its best, and our daily operations running smoothly. This person will coordinate vehicle placement, maintain lot organization, and work closely with our sales, service, detail, and marketing teams to prepare vehicles for sale and delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement across dealership lots and display areas.

• Safely move vehicles between sales, service, detail, photography, and delivery areas.

• Receive incoming inventory and park vehicles in designated locations.

• Maintain accurate vehicle locations and follow dealership procedures for key storage.

• Coordinate with sales and detail teams to ensure vehicles are clean, accessible, and ready for customers.

• Prepare and place window stickers, buyers guides, and other required vehicle labels as directed.

• Monitor inventory for cleanliness, visible damage, missing labels, or other concerns and notify the appropriate manager.

• Assist with vehicle readiness, including checking fuel levels, arranging fueling or charging as directed, and identifying vehicles needing attention.

• Keep parking areas, vehicle displays, and customer access lanes clean and orderly.

• Assist with inventory counts, locating vehicles, and rearranging displays as inventory changes.

• Support vehicle pickup, delivery, and dealership errands as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past two years.

• Comfortable safely driving and parking a variety of vehicles.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership inventory systems.

• Ability to follow instructions, manage daily priorities, and work with minimal supervision.

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and staying active throughout the workday.

• Dependable attendance, clear communication, and a team focused attitude.

• Previous dealership or lot porter experience is a plus, but not required.
