RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review monthly operating reports in order to track each dealerships progress toward established goals/objectives
• Regularly meet with dealership managers to develop plans and strategies for common activities.
• Ensure that each department within the dealership operates harmoniously on a team concept and maximizes its profit potential.
• Review and provide feedback to the Executive Vice President as to the overall dealership performance in relationship to established goals/objectives.
• Promote actions for the betterment of the combined dealerships (i.e., cross-selling, cross utilization of personnel, etc.)
• Assure that good working relationships with the factory and lending institutions are developed and maintained.
• Recruit, select, and develop management staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree required or proof of significant pursuit of Associate degree or above and/or Industry-specific accreditations (such as NCM or NADA)
• Previous general manager experience
• Experience in other dealership departments is a plus.
• Must have strong leadership and organizational skills,
• Ability to understand profit and loss statements
• Ability to manage a large, diverse staff.
• Platform Directors also must possess strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.
