The Role

As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality vehicle repairs for our customers. You'll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns, perform inspections, and collaborate with service advisors and parts personnel to keep repairs moving efficiently. We are seeking technicians at multiple experience levels and offer ongoing manufacturer training to help you continue building your skills and earning potential.

What You'll Own

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles according to GM and dealership standards.
  • Perform inspections and identify additional maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Accurately document diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations.
  • Communicate repair needs, timelines, and updates with service advisors.
  • Road test vehicles to verify concerns and completed repairs.
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to secure needed parts.
  • Utilize TruVideo to document inspections and explain repair recommendations.
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
  • Maintain customer vehicle cleanliness and care throughout the repair process.
  • Stay current with manufacturer training, technical bulletins, and evolving technology.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
  • Support team success through collaboration and additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a Service Technician, Diesel Technician, Transmission Technician, or similar automotive role preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical demands of an automotive service environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record review.
