Urban Ministries of Wake County is seeking a Clinic Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of its Open Door Clinic in Raleigh. This is an opportunity to combine healthcare experience, people leadership, and operational skills in a role that directly supports individuals experiencing barriers to healthcare.
Compensation Based on Experience

2 years of directly related experience: Starting at $65,000
-
2–4 years of directly related experience: Up to $74,000
-
4+ years of directly related experience: Up to $82,000
Final compensation will be based on directly related experience, qualifications, credentials, and overall fit for the position.
What You'll Do
You'll provide hands-on leadership for the daily operations of the Open Door Clinic, including:

Overseeing clinic operations, scheduling, patient flow, and administrative processes

Supervising, coaching, and supporting clinic staff

Coordinating healthcare volunteers, MedServe Fellows, interns, and students

Supporting patient registration, referrals, scheduling, and follow-up

Working closely with healthcare providers, the volunteer Medical Director, pharmacy partners, laboratories, and community partners

Managing supplies, equipment, inventory, vendors, and operational resources

Monitoring clinic performance and identifying opportunities for improvement

Supporting quality improvement and operational planning

Maintaining compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, infection-prevention requirements, and other applicable healthcare regulations

Helping maintain a welcoming, respectful, and patient-centered environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who can lead people while keeping the details of a healthcare operation organized and moving forward.
Strong candidates will have:

At least 2 years of directly related healthcare operations, clinic management, or comparable healthcare experience
-
Experience coordinating clinic operations and/or healthcare services
-
Experience supervising or leading employees, volunteers, interns, students, or healthcare teams
-
Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements such as HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, or similar standards
-
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare technology
-
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
-
The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
A bachelor's degree and directly related experience are preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and directly related experience will be considered.
Even Better If You Have

Current unrestricted North Carolina RN or LPN license, or other relevant clinical credentials/training with substantial hands-on clinical experience

Experience in nonprofit healthcare, ambulatory care, community health, or outpatient clinic operations

Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency
