Service Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally while creating a welcoming service experience.
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair requests on repair orders.
  • Inspect vehicles, review maintenance history, and recommend necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for labor and parts while clearly explaining recommended services.
  • Obtain customer authorization before additional work is performed.
  • Monitor repair progress and proactively communicate updates regarding vehicle status, costs, and completion times.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Review completed repair orders with customers and explain all completed work and charges.
  • Schedule service appointments and answer inbound customer inquiries.
  • Maintain strong Customer Satisfaction (CSI) scores through excellent communication and follow-up.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive Service Advisor experience preferred.
  • Experience with Nissan and/or Infiniti vehicles is a plus.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high CSI scores.
  • Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders, vehicle history, and manufacturer service recommendations.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple open repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
