The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing exceptional service in promoting and selling automotive parts.

Responsibilities:

• Sell parts to auto body shops and independent repair facilities and other whole sale business via phone, fax, email, or direct sales
• Increase service department’s customer base
• Generate new business by prospecting potential customers and maintaining existing accounts
• Educate customers about available automotive parts and accessories
• Provide quotations and negotiate pricing to meet sales targets
• Ensure timely delivery of parts and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, inventory and customer interactions

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive parts sales/inventory or a related field

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
• Experience with manufacture specific catalogues is preferred
• Knowledge of electronic parts catalogues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to make recommendations, prioritize items in order of importance
• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Work in performed indoors and outdoors spending up to 75% of work shift visiting wholesale and independent shops. Standing and walking for up to 30% of work shift is required to assist clients at the counter and deliver parts to technicians. Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds rarely required when moving parts.
