At Kendall Ford of Marysville, our parts department is a fast-paced environment serving technicians within the dealership as well as clients throughout the community by selling OEM and aftermarket parts to our clients.
The Partsperson is responsible for customer service and retail sales at an auto parts store. In this position, your responsibilities include selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and, if necessary, on shelves.

Kendall Auto Group offers competitive compensation through base + commission pay plans. Employees in this position typically bring home $30,000-$70,000 annually depending on their drive and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part request for the customer
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license & good driving record
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
- Experience with manufacture specific catalogues is preferred
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Knowledge of electronic parts catalogues
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Minimum of 1 year in parts department
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Experience with auto parts sales preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, have a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Work is performed indoors spending up to 75% of work shift using computers and phone systems. Standing and walking for up to 30% of work shift is required to assist clients at the counter and deliver parts to technicians. Carrying and lifting 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds rarely required when moving parts.
