Role Purpose: Blanchard is looking for a driven and energetic SMB Sales Director to help grow our customer base within the small to mid-sized business segment. This is a fully remote role, perfect for an early- to mid-career sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in hitting and exceeding their number.

**Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 + uncapped commission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue by acquiring new SMB clients and expanding relationships with existing ones.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets through proactive outreach and solution selling.
  • Take full ownership of your pipeline and sales number — tracking progress, forecasting accurately, and hitting goals.
  • Build strong relationships with business owners and mid-level decision-makers.
  • Identify and engage qualified leads through outbound efforts and marketing-generated opportunities.
  • Effectively manage the full sales cycle, from first contact to close.
  • Communicate Blanchard’s value proposition clearly and compellingly to SMB buyers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and customer success post-sale.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 1–2 years of successful sales or business development experience (preferably B2B).
  • Natural prospector who enjoys reaching out to new contacts and uncovering opportunities.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with strong time management and self-discipline.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deals.
  • Coachable, goal-oriented, and accountable for results.
  • Eager to grow in a high-performance, team-driven sales culture.
  • Ability to learn and apply a consultative sales approach.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced degree a plus
  • Previous record of attaining and exceeding sales goals
  • Demonstrated success selling to new and existing accounts
  • Experience growing customer accounts over a long period of time
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite (word, excel, Powerpoint) and CRM system

Work Environment: Normal office environment to include operating a computer and using the phone. requires adaptability, quick decision making, ability to juggle multiple priorities, oral communication, ability to interpret data, dependability, good judgment, reading, social skills, influence and relate well to others, stress controls, ability to work independently. some travel required primarily in region.
