Automotive Technician

Keffer Mazda is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team in Huntersville, NC. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs including brake service, oil changes, tire rotations, and engine diagnostics.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Work closely with service advisors and team members to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in the work area.
• Stay current with manufacturer updates, service bulletins, and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an automotive technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and technology effectively.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
