Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts delivery process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
• Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
• Complete a daily inventory for parts received and sort into various customer delivery routes.
• Carefully load the delivery truck so that damage to parts does not occur.
• Provide high level service to both internal and external customers.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry.
• Be able to drive a large box van type of delivery vehicle. 

Qualifications

• Previous automotive parts or delivery experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to safely lift approximately 50 pounds
• Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
