Cleaning Associate

John Jones Ford of Salem is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Cleaner to help maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment throughout the dealership. This position is responsible for the routine cleaning and upkeep of customer-facing areas, offices, restrooms, employee areas, and other dealership spaces.

The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain dealership showroom, offices, customer waiting areas, hallways, and employee areas.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the dealership.

• Dust and wipe down desks, counters, furniture, windowsills, and other surfaces.

• Clean interior glass, doors, and high-touch areas.

• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility.

• Maintain cleanliness of breakrooms and common areas.

• Monitor cleaning and restroom supplies and notify management when additional supplies are needed.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner.

• Address spills or other cleaning needs promptly.

• Assist with additional general cleaning and facility upkeep as needed.

• Follow dealership safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.

• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude around customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily cleaning responsibilities.

• Ability to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures.

• Good time-management and organizational skills.

• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working in office and employee areas.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.

• Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment.
