John Jones Auto Group is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Quick Lube & Tire Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Quick Lube &  Tire Service Center. This position is responsible for leading the Quick Lane team, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, driving service and tire sales, managing workflow, and ensuring efficient and profitable department operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Service department.

  • Lead, coach, schedule, and develop service advisors and technicians.

  • Ensure customers receive professional, timely, and friendly service.

  • Oversee vehicle workflow to maximize productivity and minimize customer wait times.

  • Monitor repair orders and ensure services are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Promote tire sales, maintenance services, and manufacturer-recommended services based on customer needs.

  • Provide accurate service recommendations and estimates to customers.

  • Monitor department sales, labor productivity, expenses, and overall profitability.

  • Establish and track department goals and performance expectations.

  • Maintain appropriate tire and service-related inventory levels.

  • Handle customer questions or concerns and work toward timely, professional resolutions.
  • Ensure technicians follow established safety procedures and dealership policies.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility.

  • Identify opportunities to improve customer retention and repeat business.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure repair orders are completed properly.

  • Work collaboratively with dealership leadership and other departments to support overall dealership goals.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive service, tire, or related management experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership and team-development skills.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Knowledge of automotive maintenance, tires, and basic vehicle service operations.

  • Experience managing department performance, productivity, and profitability preferred.

  • Comfortable working with dealership computer systems and service-related technology.

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
