Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition by performing a variety of repair and refinishing tasks, including dent removal, frame straightening, panel replacement, and painting. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess vehicle damage and determine repair needs

Remove damaged body parts and install replacement parts using tools and equipment

Repair and straighten vehicle frames and body panels

Sand, prime, and paint repaired surfaces to match original finish

Refinish and blend paint to ensure a seamless appearance

Use computerized measuring systems and alignment tools

Maintain accurate repair records and documentation

Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work closely with estimators, service advisors, and other technicians

Stay up to date with new repair techniques and technologies
Job Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a collision repair technician.
- Technical school or in-shop experience.
- Required to complete continuing education classes for I-Car certification. ASE, OEM Training/Certifications are helpful.
- Ability to deliver a world-class, customer-centric experience.
- Ability to understand written estimates and work orders.
- Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
- Must be willing to work in a drug-free/smoke-free workplace.
