Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition by performing a variety of repair and refinishing tasks, including dent removal, frame straightening, panel replacement, and painting. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair techniques, safety procedures, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess vehicle damage and determine repair needs

• Remove damaged body parts and install replacement parts using tools and equipment

• Repair and straighten vehicle frames and body panels

• Sand, prime, and paint repaired surfaces to match original finish

• Refinish and blend paint to ensure a seamless appearance

• Use computerized measuring systems and alignment tools

• Maintain accurate repair records and documentation

• Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Work closely with estimators, service advisors, and other technicians

• Stay up to date with new repair techniques and technologies

Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a collision repair technician.
• Technical school or in-shop experience.
• Required to complete continuing education classes for I-Car certification. ASE, OEM Training/Certifications are helpful.
• Ability to deliver a world-class, customer-centric experience.
• Ability to understand written estimates and work orders.
• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be willing to work in a drug-free/smoke-free workplace.
