Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., no more than 8 hours per day (except for month-end closeout).
We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Match invoices to receiving documents and verify accuracy.

Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval before payment.

Post invoices into the accounting system.

Prepare and print accounts payable checks; obtain signatures and distribute as required.

Generate AP checks and refund checks.

Prepare garnishment checks based on payroll reports.

Complete bank reconciliations and general reconciliations.

Assist with reserve statements, CIT reporting, product payables, and mistake report management.

Clear schedules and assist with monthly closing processes.

Research vendor statements, discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries.

File paid and unpaid invoices and statements.

Maintain a cooperative and professional manner with team members.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Experience

Prior accounting or accounts payable experience required.

Strong Excel skills (sorting, formulas, reconciliation).

Ability to complete bank reconciliations and various accounting schedules.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
